History is Unique

Where does history come from and how did it start? Nobody really knows when humans first started recording history but it was probably millions of years ago. The beauty of today’s technology is that we can actually use fossils and other items and find out what life was like back then without ever being there. It is almost like we can go back in time and make history ourselves.

Time travel is debatable and who knows, maybe we will one day be able to do it but the question remains about history. Here in today's society we record every single moment of time. If anything happens, no matter how insignificant it may be, it gets recorded in some fashion.

Social networking sites are a great example of how we record history without even thinking about it. When we type what we are doing or what we ate for dinner we are recording a time stamp for everyone to see. The internet is now our new global history book.

We no longer have to worry about writing books or keeping records, the internet does it all for us. We have created large databases that can handle enormous amounts of information.

History is the one thing that will remain constant. As long as there is life on earth history will always be a part of it.
