History is all Around us

Our world is full of history. It does not matter what country you live in, most of the world’s habitants have European descent. This descent has remained in all of our cultures for hundreds for years.

Here in the United Kingdom, we enjoy a very relaxed way of life due to our culture and lifestyle.

Not all countries have had it as easy as us. Many countries today still struggle to feed their children and drink water. It is hard to believe how our world can be so advanced yet so distant from one another.

When you visit the poor areas of Africa it almost feels like you are in another world. The reasons for this are numerous and far too controversial to go into detail here, but if history tells us anything it is that we need to do more to help.

Celebrities can talk all they want about the poverty in Africa but the reality is that they are not doing anything about it. It will take infrastructure improvements and better government to fix poverty, not a bunch of celebrities trying to improve their public image.

History can be fun and brutal both at the same time. Our society tends to focus on the history that means the most to us when in reality we should be worrying about what we can do to help the world today.
